Update on the Daniel Miller Fountain repairs
Millersburg Borough recently executed a contract with Houck Contracting to repair the Daniel Miller Fountain, which sustained vehicle damage early Thanksgiving morning. Houck did an initial site assessment on April 26, 2016 and they have installed construction fencing around the site. In the next few weeks, the street will be closed to traffic for a day and a detour will be in effect while Houck disassembles the fountain. The damaged pieces will be removed and a stone company in Barre, Vt. will manufacture new pieces. The stone for the fountain originally came from that community. Later this summer, (probably July or August) a second street closure and detour will be necessary to reassemble the fountain.
For your own safety, please do not enter the work site.
We appreciate the community's patience while we restore this piece of Millersburg's history.
Cherry Blossom Festival
The 27th Annual Cherry Blossom Festival is scheduled for Saturday, May 7. Market Street will be closed and the detour will be in effect. Please drive carefully.

2016 Budget Notice
The Borough Council finalized the three budgets for 2016. General Fund spending funds operational costs for the Borough. Liquid Fuels, also known as "Highway Aid," represents revenue from taxes on gasoline. These funds may only be spent on specific items related to street maintenance and repair. The Capital Improvement budget includes spending on new assets for the Borough. Click the links below for the final versions of these budgets.
State law requires that all dogs older than three months be licensed and licenses may be purchased from the Dauphin County Treasurer's Office. Licensing allows lost dogs to be easily returned to their owners, reducing the cost to the municipality. Click on the link above to license your dog for 2016. Licensing services are also available at Lehman's Hardware in Millersburg, Kratzer's Hardware in Elizabethville and Hornung's True Value in Halifax.
In Pennsylvania, the Department of Agriculture's Bureau of Dog Enforcement oversees licensing. Click here for more information.
