Federal Assistance Available
Residents are invited to meet with a staffer from US Congressman Lou Barletta's office. A staffer holds office hours at the Millersburg Borough building every third Tuesday of the month from 10 a.m. until noon to assist residents with issues and concerns related to the federal government. No appointment is required.
State law requires that all dogs older than three months be licensed and licenses may be purchased from the Dauphin County Treasurer's Office. Licensing allows lost dogs to be easily returned to their owners, reducing the cost to the municipality. Click on the link above to license your dog for 2015. Licensing services are also available at Lehman's Hardware in Millersburg, Kratzer's Hardware in Elizabethville and Hornung's True Value in Halifax.
In Pennsylvania, the Department of Agriculture's Bureau of Dog Enforcement oversees licensing. Click here for more information.
Public Notary services are available at the Millersburg Borough office during normal business hours.
The cost is $5 per notarization and the fee is waived for borough residents as a service to the community.
